5 THINGS YOU DIDN’T KNOW ABOUT AGNIESZKA NIEDZWIEDZ
WHAT IS A TYPICAL DAY OF TRAINING LIKE?
Usually I am woke up by my son and first thing to do is breakfast. We do have Akuta dog so before the first training there is a time for a family walk with my boyfriend and our kids. First training is usually running or strength workout. After 2nd breakfast I do have some free time that I spend with my son Alan on playing games at home or on the playground. Later I am leaving him with either my coach’s wife or his grandma and I can go for evening training session when I work mostly on skills and technique. After that training I need to feed the baby, get him into sleep and after our dinner we can go sleep as well.
WHAT MOTIVATES YOU AS A FIGHTER
It all changed when Alan was born. Now he motivates me most and give me power for every training. I think that I am mentally stronger as a fighter thanks to being mother. As a mother I feel fulfilled in private life so it helps a lot to focus on training and fighting.
WHAT GOT YOU INTO MARTIAL ARTS?
I was 7 years old when my mom took me to a Judo class and it starts then. In 2012 my brother asked me to go and try BJJ and after just few weeks they offered me PRO MMA fight so I stepped in as a late replacement without proper MMA training. I won that fight and switched to MMA.
WHAT PROFESSION OTHER THAN YOUR OWN WOULD YOU LIKE TO ATTEMPT AND WHY?
My dream is to have my own baker’s shop as I love to bake pies and cakes. I really hope that dream will come true after MMA career.
IF YOU COULD FIGHT ANYONE, LIVING OR DEAD, WHO WOULD YOU FIGHT AND WHY?
When I was bantamweight I wanted to fight Ronda Rousey but now I changed weightclass and there is no such person that I would like to face. I want to be the best flyweight in the world and want Invicta FC gold so right now I would like to fight current champion.
