WHAT IS A TYPICAL DAY OF TRAINING LIKE?
A typical day of training involves conditioning in the morning followed by technique at night. I like to try and stay active and I like to try and be better the next day than I was the day before. I’m constantly in competition with myself.
WHAT GOT YOU INTO MARTIAL ARTS?
I first got my start in martial arts as a ring girl actually! Sitting ring side for events and just seeing all the heart and talent the athletes were showing made me want to start training myself. I joined a gym just looking for a new way to work out and stay fit originally, but after almost a year of training I decided maybe I should give it a shot and jump in the cage!
IF YOU COULD HAVE ANY SUPERPOWER, WHAT WOULD IT BE AND WHY?
I would love to be insanely strong. Like, to be able to lift cars like they’re nothing or to pick multiple people up at once. I like to lift weights as it is so maybe wanting that super power stems from me liking to lift.
IF YOU COULD FIGHT ANYONE, LIVING OR DEAD, WHO WOULD YOU FIGHT AND WHY?
I would ATTEMPT (emphasis on attempt) to fight Chuck Norris. Everyone knows how awesome he is. Even if I got my butt completely handed to me it would be a decent learning experience. It would also be a good excuse to meet him!!
IF YOU COULD BE ANY FICTIONAL CHARACTER, WHO WOULD YOU CHOOSE AND WHY?
I would be Lex Murphy from Jurassic Park. I think dinosaurs are awesome, and she got to grow up around them. I’ve always liked the Jurassic Park movies a lot.
