WHEN AND WHY DID YOU START IN MMA?
I started MMA after 20 competitive years in TKD and then Judo. My mama coach moved his program into the gym I was managing at the time and I was hooked ever since.
WHAT WAS YOUR CAREER BEFORE FIGHTING?
Before fighting I as a 5th grade teacher and a personal trainer. I still train as I am part owner of the gym I fight out of.
DO YOU HAVE ANY HEROS AND WHY?
People inspire me for various reasons. I admire people who show spirit and perseverance even in tough times. Those people you would never know were struggling through something and would still give you the shirt off their back without hesitation. Those are the ones I fight for. Those are the ones who motivate me to push and the ones who I look up to.
WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON FIGHTING FOR INVICTA FC?
This is the biggest opportunity I have ever been given as a fighter and athlete. I have nothing but amazing things to say about how I have been treated and am eager to get back in there and show what I am actually capable of. I am not sure I knew up until now. It’s an exciting time and I want to showcase my potential.
WHEN FIGHT FANS HEAR YOUR NAME, WHAT DO YOU WANT THEM TO REMEMBER?
I want them to think that I am one badass girl that guarantees to entertain. I want to be remembered as a professional and relentless fighter that gets better and more exciting every fight. A fighter you don’t want to miss in action.
